Set up your new facility

Your rooms, your bed names, your places, your words. Support Scan is built around your building — none of this is fixed later, and nothing here commits you to anything. When you submit, our team reviews it with you before anything goes live.

1 · Your facility

2 · What kind of facility is this?

Residential / Detox

Clients sleep here. You'll set up rooms and beds, and get a live Bed Board.

PHP / IOP (outpatient)

Nobody sleeps here. No beds to configure — just your places and activities.

Units / programs (comma separated)

However your facility divides itself — Detox and Residential, Men's House and Women's House, PHP and IOP. One unit is fine.

3 · Rooms & beds

Start with the usual case — we'll build the list and you can fix anything that's different.

I have rooms with in each.

Rooms will be named Room 1, Room 2, and so on — rename any of them afterwards.

My rooms don't follow a pattern — let me paste a list or upload a file

One room per line. Just the room name is enough; add beds after a comma if you want to name them.

4 · Round places

Where can staff record a client being seen during a safety round? These start as common examples — remove what you don't have, add what we didn't think of. Tap to keep or drop; type to add your own.

5 · Round activities

What might a client be doing when staff see them? Same rule — these are examples, not requirements. Your facility's own words win.

6 · Who runs the account?

This person gets the first administrator account — they add staff, set the rules, and are who we contact about the account. A temporary PIN is issued at setup and must be changed at first sign-in.

Other people we should know — billing, IT, compliance

Optional, but it means we never have to ask "who do we call about this?" later — and an account is never stranded because one person left.

7 · Records, hardware and your start date

Your EMR

With Kipu we can pull your census automatically — clients admitted there appear here, with their room and MR number. Read-only: Support Scan never writes to the medical record.

Included in your subscription. Usually one per bed, plus two or three spares.

When do you want to go live?

Rounding stays switched OFF until the morning you say so, so nothing is recorded as a missed check while you are still training.

8 · Review & submit

Submitting sends your configuration to our team for review — no account is created and nothing is billed. We'll walk through it with you, adjust anything, and hand you a configured facility on launch day.
